We had a
blast staying at Grandmommy and Pop’s house in North Carolina! It is super fun have aunts and uncles that
are only 5+ years older than you are….especially when you get parting gifts
like an American Girl Doll (Thanks, Gracie, Faith&Hannah)!
We spent
much of the day swimming in the pool and playing on the playground at the
community clubhouse. Silas is starting
to get the hang of this swimming thing and loves the water! Corinna, too, wanted to splash and play and
didn’t even mind the cold. We took her
out once the tops of her feet had started to look like prunes. Sadie, we think, was under the impression
that she was on a swimsuit photo shoot. Not
a lot of swimming occurred, but she sure did look cute!
After a day
filled with sun, squirt guns, playgrounds, hide and seek and lightsabers (of
course!) the kids were exhausted. But a great exhausted! It’s time for a little shut eye before we hit
the road for our next adventure!
Thanks to
all the aunts and uncles that spoiled our kids rotten and taught them things
they never needed to know (like keeping candy in one’s pillow case). We all love you so much!!!
