Dogs!

Days 4 & 5: Savannah, Ga to Brandon, Florida!

This morning we woke up and drove (for what seemed like days!) and finally made it to Florida!  All in all we have logged more than 1600 miles and we’ve done it old school… technology free!  We were really excited to see the “Welcome to Florida” sign, but even more excited to see the “Welcome to Disney” sign!!  We stopped by Downtown Disney to grab the passes we had purchased and to check out the Lego store before getting back in the car and driving to Brandon, Florida, just outside Tampa!

We are staying with J.L.’s brother and wife, affectionately known as "Uncle Dog and Aunt Jodi", and their beagle, Bogey.  The kids were super excited to see them and we were excited to have them meet Corinna for the first time, too!

The kids immediately put on their swim suits and we spent most of the rest of the night swimming in their pool and playing with Bogey, the one and only dog Sadie is not terrified of.  Silas and Corinna continue to love the water and Sadie continues to find ways to look pretty in it.  She spent the majority of the time having Uncle Timothy push her around while lying on a raft.  He asked her if she was a queen, and she replied, “NO! I’m the princess!”  After Chipotle and more swimming we headed to bed (way too late!) because we have BIG plans for the morning!
